30th Anniversary

This month, 30 years ago, we published 'zine STRANGE ADVENTURES for local fan-club 'Fantasy Island'. That fanzine of fantastic media was the beginning of Pigasus Press. 

I don't have a scanned cover image of that (very basic) 4-page issue #1, but here's a later logo, created by Alan Hunter.    

Probably the best-selling issue of S.A. was the special about Blade Runner. The wrap-around cover art was by Kevin Cullen, who also drew a robot version of Pigasus.   

Only a few copies of the 2001: A Space Odyssey special issue are left in stock.

Later, the flying pig logo appeared in various forms and styles courtesy of several different artists. In this year of Brexit (end of a an era?), the Pigasus picture below seems especially relevant.
